I met my dream girl.

That’s right. She’s stunning and the worst bartender I’ve ever seen.

I should have gone home and gone to sleep—dream girl or not. I had an early morning and the season was starting soon. But when she threatened me with boy band karaoke, I couldn't help myself. I went. The stars aligned.
I have never felt more alive or wanted anyone more than I want her.

When it’s time for me to head on my annual pre-season boys trip, I barely let her go.

It’s been a week, and I can’t stop thinking about her.

Except there she is. Right here at the Wildcat’s kickoff party. And as luck would have it, my dream girl is the coach’s youngest daughter. But everyone knows the coach’s daughter is off limits. Right?

Wildcat is a full-length sports romance with a hot-as-puck hero, the coach’s daughter, and an unfortunate case of mistaken identity.

The Wildcats are the youngest team in the NHL. On the ice, they’re cocky, determined, and ready to take the league by storm. Off the ice? They’re always up for a wild time.

This was my first listen by Rebecca Jenshak. Loved Scarlett & Leo's hot story! I spent most of the book swooning everytime Leo called Scarlett "Dream Girl". Then add in a bunch of hockey players to the mix and I'm sold. Excellent narration by Desiree Ketchum & Aaron Shedlock.

Great hockey story

This is the first book in the Wildcat Hockey Series, a Sports Romance. Scarlett and Leo's forbidden romance is sweet, funny, and heartwarming. Scarlett is beautiful, smart, supportive, and strong. Leo is handsome, kind, supportive, and caring. He is a professional hockey player, and Scarlett is his coach’s daughter, so she totally is off limits. They are perfectly perfect together. The story is is beautifully written. The supporting characters are amazing. I loved the friendship between the Wildcat's teammates, and the strong family bonds in this story. Aaron Shedlock and Desireé Ketchum did an excellent job with the narration. This audiobook is very pleasant to listen to, and I enjoyed it! This is a great start to the series, and I am looking forward for the next book in the series.

Sweet Romance / Excellent Narration!

Wildcat is book one in the Wildcat Hockey series and is the forbidden sports romance story of Leo Lohan and Scarlett Miller.
Leo Lohan is a professional hockey player and is the star forward for the Minnesota Wildcats. He lives, eats, sleeps, and breathes hockey, a book smart good guy who likes to lead a scandal free life and keep a low profile. He has one hot, sexy night with a bombshell stranger who rocks his world and has him spending more time than he’d care to admit thinking about, only at the team party when he’s introduced to his coach’s daughter it turns out his dream girl is not only unforgettable, but she’s also complicated. Will Leo be able to break down her walls and keep his place on the team or will he decide she is more trouble than she’s worth?
Scarlett Miller is still trying to figure out her life. She’s back home from London after a break-up and consequently has sworn off dating athletes so imagine her shock when the guy who she had one wild, sexy night with and who has consumed her thoughts turns out to not only be an athlete but the star forward for the Wildcats, the team her father coaches. Will Scarlett be able to resist Leo’s charms and keep her distance for the sake of her father and team or will she throw caution to the wind and get lost in this man who makes her feel incredible both inside and outside of the bedroom?
Aaron Shedlock and Desiree Ketchum narrated this audiobook and my goodness, what an amazing duo they make. Aaron’s portrayal of Leo was fantastic. He conveyed Leo’s wants and desires and his hesitancy of messing up his career and getting his heartbroken perfectly. Desiree’s performance of Scarlett was fabulous. She showcased Scarlett’s trepidation, her re-discovering herself now she’s back home and overcoming her relationship fears spectacularly.
This was my first Rebecca Jenshak book, and it certainly won’t be my last, I was captivated from start to finish by this incredible forbidden sports romance. I absolutely loved this audiobook, and I am super excited to get lost in the lives of more players and to see how the rest of the Wildcat Hockey series plays out.

I really do love this authors work. It's so easy to sink into the couple, the sports world (whatever it may be but in this case hockey) and the friendships and just have a really darn good time. Player and coach's daughter isn't new to the genre but there wasn't the usual angst that goes with it. This was soo darn sweet. Leo was completely gone for his dream girl from the start. Scarlet is quite relatable because she not only doesn't have her life together, she really doesn't know what she's doing. And can't we call relate at least a wee bit?? Frankly this was great and I can't wait for the rest of the season. The audio was 🤌 good. I volunteered to listen to a complimentary copy of this. All opinions are my own.

Super good
