This wasn’t supposed to happen. I was supposed to glide through senior year unnoticed and ride into the sunset on the back of my aunt’s inflated bank account. I was supposed to be in control.

Now they are.

The trials will last 60 days. They can happen anytime, anyplace, and anyone or anything is fair game. I won’t see them coming. I’ll need to be ready at all times. Prepared to fight, to steal, to save, and to kill at Diesel St. Crow’s command.

While I sit on standby, he’s ordered his sons to keep an eye on me, and they’ve become my own personal wardens.

Corvus, Rook, and Grey. Their watchful stares will make destroying them from the inside harder than I planned for.

But as truths are dragged out of the shadows and new dangers emerge, I may be forced to accept that they are more than armed roadblocks in my path. They might also be my only hope of survival.

Wicked Trials is a full-length, dark enemies-to-lovers reverse-harem romance, meaning the main character will have more than one love interest. It is book two in the Boys of Briar Hall series and should be listened to after Crooked Crows.

Warning: This is a dark gang romance. It contains foul language, graphic depictions of gang violence, and jealous/possessive themes. Please listen responsibly.

There’s some series where you absolutely can’t wait to see what happens next and this is certainly one of them! I love everything about it. This book starts off where Crocked Crows left us taking us on a whirlwind of trials quite literally and tribulations. The emotional crazy this book puts you through too! I mean that ending urrrgh!! Not so much a cliffhanger but a real tease into what’s going to come! I love that there’s so much push and pull between Ava Jade and the guys despite their clear connection they really do fight against it. I just want to jump into the next book! Once again this book has been bought to life by my favourite narrators Bridget and Jake! I definitely couldn’t be happier that this series is out on audiobook

What a second book in an epic series. AJ once again proves how she is a super strong female on this journey she’s on with her men.

Once again, the Bordeaux’s are the absolute perfect voices for all the characters.

Don’t doubt yourself…. Jump in!

As far as reverse harems go this is pretty good. It has the elements of a dark bully romance.

The narration for me was everything, I loved how the narrators would dip in and out throughout the chapters, rather than doing a set chapter each. This for me gave it such a good feel and really kept me interested.

Recommended read if you like reverse harems

The way this book ends....... AJ don’t do it, snitches get stitches. I am loving how this story is going so far, although I'm waiting for more chemistry between the crows and AJ. Now I've got a long wait for books 3 and 4 to make it onto audible. Please don't make me wait too long.

The narrators do an amazing job in bringing the story to life. 5 🌟
