Özet

Set in New York Times bestselling author Jeaniene Frost’s Night Huntress World, ancient deities are poised to wreak havoc, unless vampires Veritas and Ian can stop them … in this thrilling Night Rebel novel!

A gift from the gods…

Veritas and Ian have finally defeated their worst enemy, but the power it took to pierce through to the netherworld has unexpected consequences. Soon, Veritas is forced to rely on the last person she trusts---a golden deity named Phanes, who seeks far more than a temporary alliance with the beautiful vampire.

Can unleash hell…

But an escape from the netherworld soon pits Veritas and Ian against supernatural beings seeking to rule over mortals once again. Now, they must rally friends and foes alike—if the vampire council doesn’t execute Veritas first. Plus, a wedge between Veritas and Ian threatens to destroy their love. Can they stand together against the unearthly powers about to be unleashed? Or does their love—and humanity—not stand a chance?

I never knew that either Ian or Veritas could grow on me as much as they have throughout the Night Rebel trilogy.
Featuring my favourite characters from the Night Huntress world, this was a story full of grit and tension. The plot kept meon my toes in exactly the hight class of writing that I have come to expect from Jeaniene Frost.
Tavia Gilbert continues to wow me with her outstanding narration.

A brilliant addition to The Night Huntress univers

Loved the coming together of all the main characters of this series. The storyline was thrilling. The one big let lown was the voice of Veritas - it was soo tinney/harsh on the ears! it was only previous audios that made me continue. Narration is the key to good audios and this one just did not work because the main voice was Veritas.

Excellent finale, BUT

I’ve read a lot of novels by this author. Each set has its own main characters. For me this is my favourite. The narrator is excellent. I never had to wonder who was talking. I’m not going to spoil the plot but the details of magic and its consequences are fascinating. Oh yes! And the sexy bits leave nothing to the imagination. Excellent story and narration.

The quick wit of Ian and the slow change in Veritas
