Özet

Jada left home at the age of sixteen, running from her own demons and the horrors of physical abuse inflicted by her mother’s boyfriend. She partied hard, and life seemed good when she was with Born, the neighborhood kingpin whose name was synonymous with money, power, and respect. But all his love couldn’t save her from a crack addiction. Jada goes from crack addict and prostitute to survivor and back again before she finds the strength to live for herself and come out on top. And her stormy romance with one of the fiercest hustlers on the streets makes White Lines one of the most unforgettable urban love stories of the year.

I guessed by the title that this book was about drugs however it’s so much deeper than that that. The characters in the book were really believable. I was absolutely gripped with the story from the start. It took me on a rollercoaster ride of emotions happy moments sad moments got wrenching moments I can’t believe that I booked this long had me riveted from start to finish. I can’t wait to read part two.

Love, love, love. Hope this is a movie soon

Any additional comments?

Didnt like this book at all. Couldn't finish it. Every chapter had to include a gross over embellished sex scene that just went on and on. It had me cringing in quite a few places and the silly sound effects were extremely amateurish.

sex sex and more sex
