Twin sisters Cassie and Lenora are inseparable. Ever since that night, theyve been on their own, and thats how they like it. As the sole permanent residents of Cabin Two, their refuge on an isolated Tennessee campground, the twins manage to stay away from prying eyes, probing questions, and true-crime junkies. The peace and quiet is almost enough to make them forget what happened all those years ago. Almost. Until a teenage girl camping at the neighboring cabin goes missing, and the memories come rushing back. As the crime becomes ever more recognizable, each sister suspects the other knows more than shes letting on. Trapped in the isolating, claustrophobic wilderness, Cassie and Lenora must piece together the truth of what happenedand the sinister truth lurking in their own pastsbefore its too late. This was my first time listening to anything by Marlee Bush, and I’m obsessed. The storytelling is gripping and suspenseful. Never a dull moment or dialogue that wasn’t needed. I tried to guess the twist but nothing could have prepared me for it!
The *only* thing to criticize is the amount of characters/timeline jumping. Maybe it’s just me, but I had to re-listen to a few bits to figure out who was talking or where I was in the scene.
Overall, it’s a thrilling novel that I finished in 2 days! Love love love!

A rollercoaster of suspense and mystery

Very slow , a bit boring start .. didn’t enjoy it until chapter 10 ,but after that got much better and caught my attention finally . Half guessed ending , but it was still okay to listen .

It was okay

Kept waiting for it to get better as had heard it had a good twist. Don’t bother reading imo. Narrated well however.

Repetitive, drawn out and boring
