When Charlotte Sawyer is unable to contact her step-sister, Jocelyn, to tell her that one her closest friends was found dead, she discovers that Jocelyn has vanished.

Beautiful, brilliant - and reckless - Jocelyn has gone off the grid before, but never like this. In a desperate effort to find her, Charlotte joins forces with Max Cutler, a struggling PI who recently moved to Seattle after his previous career as a criminal profiler went down in flames - literally. Burned out, divorced and almost broke, Max needs the job.

After surviving a near-fatal attack, Charlotte and Max turn to Jocelyn's closest friends, women in a Seattle-based online investment club, for answers. But what they find is chilling. When her uneasy alliance with Max turns into a full-blown affair, Charlotte has no choice but to trust him with her life. For the shadows of Jocelyn's past are threatening to consume her - and anyone else who gets in their way.

Would you listen to When All the Girls Have Gone again? Why?

Well, I can answer this question easily as I have already listened to it twice and I am currently reading the book.

What was one of the most memorable moments of When All the Girls Have Gone?

I can't say without spoiling the ending - sorry.

Have you listened to any of Amanda Leigh Cobb’s other performances? How does this one compare?

I found Amanda Leigh Cobb's voice very pleasant to listen to, she managed to differentiate between all the various characters so you always knew who was talking. It compares very favourably to her other performances.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes absolutely, unfortunately one has to sleep sometime.

Any additional comments?

I am a fan of Jayne Ann Krentz, having read nearly all her novels over the course of many years. She is well and truly back on form, some of her recent novels (while still good reads and ten times better then some other authors who could do with the services of a decent editor) have not been up to her normal standard. Interesting characters, great story with enough twists and turns to keep you guessing until the very end. Excellent.

Couldn’t stop listening, very gripping. First three chapters were overlong, and I was tempted to stop, but persevered. But once the story got into its stride, it was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyable.

I enjoyed listening to this book. I found it easy to listen to, and the story was interesting. It was not an obvious outcome either (well, not for the most part).

Don't know why all the negativity

story and a bit complicated in places, but not a bad listen. I did feel that it could have ended sooner, but overall a good listen and a fair portrayal of the characters.

Very long
