All good men must come to an end....

Disgraced ex-cop Robert Hoon has crossed the wrong people for the last time.

Having struck a humiliating blow against the criminal network known as the Loop, Hoon has been targeted by the Alphas, an elite squad of assassins who will not stop until he is dead.

Outnumbered, outgunned, and on unfamiliar territory, Hoon’s only chance of survival lies several hundred miles north, in a place he knows better than anyone else on Earth.

He swore he’d never set foot there again, but almost four decades after he left, Bob Hoon is finally going home.

Westward is the third thriller novel in the Robert Hoon series and is perfect for fans of Jack Reacher, James Bond, and excessive swearing.

I have listened to over 200 Audible books and many have been very good. What turns a good book to a great book is when the story, the characters and the narrator are perfectly aligned. That is the case with the JD Kirk Hoon series.

Great storyline, with perfect narration

I never thought I’d like the Hoon series but I was too curious to miss out on it. Now I cannot wait for more. It is so refreshing different and bonkers and still enough twists and turns to remind me that it’s a crime story still somehow. And the new additions are hilarious the quotes are coming wild and fast. And kudos to Angus King he is a huge part of the enjoyment his voices do fit to the scenes and characters but getting Berta to sing like I’d expected her to sound singing was a master performance. I have the suspicion he enjoys those books as much as the listener and reader does.

why on earth did they give Gabrielle a dodgy Spanish accent in this book!? very odd....did the author and publisher not think it would be incredibly strange to change a significant characters accent from english to Spanish... few inconsistencies in the back stories of the characters. However, good listen and Hoon remains one of my favorite characters

the change of character accent
