I already knew he was a psychopath. But now?

He’s more dangerous than ever.

And I have less than 24 hours to stop him.

After escaping Lengard and finding sanctuary with the Remnants, Alyssa Scott is desperate to save those she left behind - and the rest of the world - from the power-hungry scientist Kendall Vanik. But secrets and lies block her at every turn, and soon Lyss is questioning everything she has ever believed.

When long-lost memories begin to surface and the mysteries of her past continue to grow, Lyss battles to retain her hard-won control. Allies become enemies and enemies become allies, leaving her certain about only two things: when it comes to Speakers, nothing is ever as it seems...and the only person she can trust is herself.

Great storyline, something completely different but so captivating. The characters are very real and despite its fantasy nature it’s believable.
Descriptive enough to create the pictures in your mind as you listen to the story but enough freedom to allow you your own spin on it.
I was sad that this was only two books and that the story wasn’t longer, so immersed I was in it.
The narrators voice is soft and calming throughout even in the dramatic scenes, allowing you to go along with the story at its pace and feel completely wrapped within the story.
Thank you

Equally as fantastic as the first. Definitely recommend as one of my most enjoyable stories.
Narrator is very skilled. No confusion over each character as she easily glides through these books. Loved it and simply couldn't put it down!

Thoroughly enjoyed this book and even though it finished at a reasonable place I was definitely left wanting more. I'd love to see what happens next.
