I once thought one of my ruthless boys could be the killer I’m hunting. They’re all dark, deadly, and more than capable of brutality. But now, I’m held by the King I’ve been stalking in the shadows, and when I unmask him, he’ll realize he made a huge mistake in taking my brother from this world. My Kings are coming for me, I know that in my soul. They’re on their way to rip me from my enemy’s arms and tear him apart for me. My heart beats to the sound of their names. But I won’t wait around to be rescued. Everything has led me to this moment, and I’m ready to destroy the Fae who stole my brother from me.Secrets will be uncovered. Destiny will be decided. Death will deliver us all in the end. No one will escape the conclusion of this story without blood on their hands. I guess it’s a good thing I’m a vampire then, because I just so happen to have a taste for blood.©2021 Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti (P)2023 Caroline Peckham\ and Susanne Valenti Fantastik Paranormal Paranormal Romantizm Romantic Suspense Romantik Kurgu Gerilim Esprili Samimi Komik Kraliyet

Fantastic conclusion to this epic series.

Magic, murder, a secret society and star bound soulmates and a lot of steamy hot scenes too. There was so much going on and quite a few strands that needed to be tied up. They all were, but there is so much more to look forward to with the hints given about Zodiac Academy and Darkmore Penitentiary. I loved Elise and all her kings. They made me laugh, cry and swoon. They all came so far from where they started when Elise first arrived at Aurora Academy looking for answers about her brothers disappearance.

Troy Duran on audio was amazing, I always knew whose pov it was out of the kings, he made them all so different and recognisable. Angelina Rocca was also very good as Elise, although it took me a while to get used to her voice as she was a different narrator to the one in the first four books.

Excellent series, I'm looking forward to reading/listening to more.

Enthralling conclusion to a brilliant series

Warrior Fae is the final book in this amazing series and unfortunately there was a change in female narrators which was unexpected and I found I did struggle slightly because Elise was the other narrator. Nevertheless, Angelina Rocca did an amazing job and after listening to a single chapter proved that she fit well with Troy Duran. Even though I had previously read this story already I still really enjoyed listening to it more. Warrior Fae is a emotional read and the narrators did an amazing job conveying this. I laughed, I cried, I felt such heart-stopping terror at certain parts I actually had to pause for a few moments to calm down otherwise I may have ended up in hospital from a panic attack. It was such an intense read and listening to it just made this even more so.

Since he is on the cover picture Warrior Fae is mainly based on Ryder's development as a character, there was a lot of growth for him and he is hands down my favourite character. Also this book just proves how much he loves Leon because although it's hilarious he does put up with a lot of his crazy. Dante also has a lot to deal with, the betrayal of certain members of his family, coming to terms with the fact he probably will have to put up with Ryder for the rest of his life because he is never leaving Elise. And then if that's not enough he has Lame Lionel asking the unthinkable of him.

Overall, it was a really intense, emotional read and I'm so sad to say goodbye to these characters that I might just have to go back and re-listen to the entire series once again.

Intense and emotional listen!
