When Sigurd the Viking arrives back in Flotby, not everyone’s pleased to see him - in fact the whole town quickly goes down with a severe attack of Vikingitis! Mr and Mrs Ellis don’t know what to do with him until they hit upon a brilliant idea - perhaps a short spell at school would teach him some twentieth-century manners...©1997 Jeremy Strong (P)2014 Audible, Inc. First audiobook we've listened to - so number 1!

What did you like best about this story?

The funny things Siggy gets up to - especially with the pig and painting the windows ...

Have you listened to any of Nigel Lambert’s other performances? How does this one compare?

No we haven't - but we will look for more of his performances after this one!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Everything Siggy did made us laugh loads

Any additional comments?

We loved it, our only criticism is we'd like it to be a thousand chapters longer - reviewers aged 8, 7 and 5 :)

It was very good and funny! They we’re wrestling and they were married so that was funny! Then the Viking was like ‘you my sleeves’ and he was meant to be saying ‘your my slaves’.
