Would you be prepared to work for free? How would you like to bust your hump for a large corporation 60-plus hours a week without a wage or a single day off for the vague promise of some mysterious perks in the distant future?

You'd refuse point blank, wouldn't you? But what if the job in question was playing a state-of-the-art fantasy MMORPG game? And what if this was the only thing you're really good at? Especially considering that your in-game partner is someone really special to you - and this person already lives a virtual life?

Knowing all this, would you consider the mysterious future bonus worth your while?

Loved this series, was good to read about an alternative hero than just a regular human or beastkin. Highly recommended

Excellent!

Can't tell if it's due to the translation, or the culture of the author, but it can come across as quite formal in places, which puts off the flow of the performance a little for me. there's a few plot holes that irked me a little, but overall I enjoyed this action/slice of pie/toiling storyline. i'll be continuing onto the next book 👍

Slightly jarring but enjoyable nonetheless

I really dislike very overpowered characters from the get go.

In thins book the protagonist has steady build up. On the top ten list...

If you like the underdog
