Every assassin has an exit strategy - their ultimate plan for leaving that dangerous life and disappearing. They just never expect to live long enough to enact it. Gabriel Prescott was no different. But everything changed when he met fellow mercenary Justin Mallory.

Now, he’s racing across Europe with Justin to put to rest old threats before they can end both their lives. Of course, it will also mean coming clean to Justin about exactly who he is and who wants him dead. Gabriel can only hope that Justin will still want him when the truth comes out.

I enjoyed this read, I found it easy to get into. I enjoyed learning more about Gabriel and his past. However the action part, being a more heavy element in the story, didn't have any real stakes and I needed them in this one especially as the romance wasn't so strong in the book

fast paced and a fun read

The story is always full stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. Kenneth Obi is one of the top 5 narrators (so far) for me, I can listen without break and have no problems to follow. I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.

Everything about the two stories was perfect to me and the narrator too ... If there will be more gay but if not I think the ending was brilliant!

More please!

I wondered how the first one could be topped and this is it. The story moves at a great pace, lots of action both in and out of the bedroom. Will start the next one immediately. 5 stars all around.

5 stars across the board.
