The world has fallen to despair and ruin.
Four years into the Biblical apocalypse and Earth has become a dying shadow of what it was. The devil rules with an iron will. Monsters and demons run rampant and kill indiscriminately as survivors try desperately to hold on.
One man, a soldier left wandering the arid deserts of Pakistan may be the key to saving humanity and turning the tide of fate. Can Mike Demarco take ahold of his destiny and find the strength needed to rally mankind in the war against evil as he journeys across the globe gaining allies and meeting new challenges on his quest to save the world.

If you enjoy gritty fight scenes, a strong theme of good versus evil with biblical undertones, and explicit adult content, this book will be right up your alley. There are quite a few characters to keep track of, so I’d recommend listening to it in quick succession. Don’t let that put you off because you will soon be rooting for your favourite characters.
It’s definitely an addictive listen, but not the kind of story you can dip in and out of — it demands your attention. I’m really hoping a second book will be commissioned, as I’d love to see where the story goes next.
Great sexy fantasy read
