Six years have passed since Elisabeth Wingate faced the terrors under Snake Island. Life has settled into comfortable obscurity—her business thrives, she’s healthy, and she’s distanced herself from the perilous world of Greek myth. When a series of unsettling global events unfold, she’s thrust back into the mythological nightmare she vowed to leave behind.

And it’s all her fault.

Targeted by a vengeful god who will stop at nothing to destroy her, Elisabeth must rally both familiar faces and unexpected allies for a desperate mission. She must venture beneath the Greek island of Crete, where ancient monsters and ruthless deities dwell.

The clock is ticking. Elisabeth survived Under Bethel. She survived Under Snake Island. Will she survive Under Crete?

listening to this book was an enjoyable experience. As a historian there are a few mythological inaccuracies but they are very minor and won't detract you from enjoying this book. I also really liked the narrator's voice, the narration was clear and well paced (Perhaps even a tad bit slow but I increased the speed by 10% and then it was perfect). Keep in mind that it's the third book in the series so you might feel a bit lost on characters if you haven't listened to the previous ones. At around 9 hours I think it is a fun weekend read/listen. I might pick up the rest of the series as well.

spoiler alert : if you don't like giant hordes of rats you probably won't like this book though😁

Fun, exciting story with good narration

The final book in the Shattered Olympus series certainly didn’t disappoint. Set six years after the events of Under Snake Island, Elisabeth is living a much better life, when the events from the end of the last book suddenly catch up with her and her friends and they are dragged back into the horrors of greek mythology. A great setting, interesting character development and a heart-wrenching conclusion to the story. The hint of a Norse mythology follow up has me very excited! Good narration on the audiobook, though the Scottish accents were a little shaky at times.

Great conclusion with a hint of more
