I am really sorry but the choice of narrator is spoiling this series for me, the last one was a little better but even she made the story hard to listen to. But I’m invested into this series so have to continue this collection of books is a fantastic series if you read these reviews please bear the irritating accents in mind and be sure you can block them out before you get to hooked into the story, sorry but I wish I had.

Well I thought the last narrator for this series was bad, this new narrator had me choking with laughter at her so called Welsh accent! It was a strange mix of Scottish & Irish and so distracting, that It spoilt the overall book, as a fair few characters in it are meant to be Welsh. I had to keep rewinding the book to try to make sense of who was talking. What a shame, as the books in this series are good, they just have the wrong narrators.

I’ve been enjoying this series, but why would you change the narrator 1/2 way through a series. It has come changed the characters feels like a completely different story.. very disappointing.
