Macklin is just next level swoony.

Stephen & Erin bring them to life and more. I found myself giggling and rewinding parts to listen again.
I’m obsessed with these sisters and their men.

Baylor moved to New York for work and a man. A man she continued to build her life around while he stopped choosing her. Leaving him behind and the life she thought they was making, Baylor moved back home to her sisters.

And I fall in love again with the next Moran sister story. It's time for Baylor to come back to Magnolia Falls. Her relationship is broken and life in New York is not what she expected. Coming home seemed like the right thing to do. Macklin has loved Baylor forever and now that she is back, he is going to grab his chance with her. And the fun begins. Winning her over but being patient is what he has to do, and he is ready to do whatever it takes. Baylor is definitely hurt beyond belief, but there is something about Macklin that keeps her grounded. Her sisters are there for her and that is a huge help too. There is just something about Magnolia Falls that warms my heart and keeps me riveted for these stories. Kaylee Ryan knows how to give me all the feels, with a hero that is so incredibly lovable that I was team Macklin all the way! This is a fabulous story and made my weekend.

Bringing it all to life is Erin Mallon and Stephen Dexter. This collaboration could not have been a better pick. Mallon is Baylor and her emotional turmoil is felt from the first chapter. She lets her heal and it's beautiful. Dexter has the twang that belongs to Macklin and his warmth and loving tones warm the heart. I couldn't get enough! Loved these two and their performance.

Kaylee Ryan does it again, penning another wonderfully entertaining novel set in her “Moran Sisters” series, and it is a beauty of a romance, one that warms your heart and makes it swoon. I am loving my visits to Magnolia Ridge, Tennessee, and the Moran sisters and the bond they share. Each book in the series stands on its own, featuring a different sister, but I recommend enjoying them in the order written, each book is just as wonderful as the other, and characters crossover into each other’s books and knowing their backstory add depth, plus seeing them again is like seeing an old friend. This second book is Baylor’s story, the sister who moved away to the city and lives with her boyfriend, Todd. Todd, a junior lawyer in the firm he works for, has been putting all his focus on work, hoping to make partner, and their relationship is hurting because of it. Baylor was getting fed up with his lack of effort and attention, but something he did behind her back was the final straw, and she upped and left after confronting him. Baylor was going home for Ellison’s shower anyway, and her sisters were ecstatic to learn she was moving back home, and they were not the only ones who were. Macklin McBride, a retired champion bull-rider, has wanted Baylor for years, but missed his chance and has been pining over her since. And now that Baylor is back in town, it is his time to win over her heart and her love. Baylor’s failed relationship left her with some insecurities, but Macklin is right there for her to build her back up and show her she is worthy of love and that Todd did not deserve her. Macklin is such a sweetheart, a patient man giving her the space she needed, while sticking close in case she needed something. I thought these two were perfect together and for each other, and it was great watching their relationship grow into something so much more. This fabulously crafted, multi-layered story has the perfect balance of drama, a touch of angst, charming and heartwarming moments, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. As always, Ryan’s writing, plot, and world-building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. Thank you for another fabulous story and emotional rollercoaster ride

🎧📚🎧 Kaylee Ryan chose the perfect cast to bring her characters to life, and the wonderfully talented Erin Mallon and Stephen Dexter deliver a fabulous performance doing so. I loved how they took each role and made it their own, sounding believable and just as I pictured the characters would sound. Mallon’s take on Baylor was spot-on, grasping every facet of her personality, from her vulnerabilities to her strength and determination. Dexter nailed it as Macklin, playing the swoon-worthy golden retriever perfectly, a dedicated man in love. Both were fantastic performing the roles of the side/secondary characters, giving each a voice that was fitting. Their expressive delivery conveys all the characters’ emotions, making you feel each one. These two are an ideal pairing, with voices that complement each other and an entertaining performance that keeps you hooked to the dialogue and the story.

I loved this book so so much! The characters and their storyline were amazing, the book read like a train, so fast and quick, but it was also an easy read, even if there were definitely emotional subjects in there as well. I think it was greatly balanced with humor though because I snorted a couple times too. I'm loving this series so much so far and I cannot wait to see what this author has in store for us next!

Baylor loves her family and the Inn they own however she wanted a different life. Years later she realizes that her job and the man she was living with weren’t making her happy she decides to return to her hometown and her family. When she returns she starts spending time with Macklin, a man she had feeling for when she was growing up, and he shows her how she has always deserved to be treated.

Mac has loved Baylor since she was 18 and he was 23 however he also wanted her to follow her dreams, so he never told her how he felt about her as it never seemed to be the right time. Now that she is back he isn’t about to repeat the mistakes of the past and that means showing her how he has always felt about her while also being patient and giving her the time to realize that it is finally their time.

There are no words to describe the love and dedication that Mac has for Baylor and how he has always known that she was his destiny. He is supportive and understanding as he helps her heal from the past and shows her an enduring and epic love that was always meant to be. The audio was performed by Stephen Dexter who brings the swoon factor when it comes to Mac and Erin Mallon who allows us to feel Baylor’s insecurities when it comes to trusting her heart and love for Mac.
