Have you ever noticed that things aren't always what they seem? Life will always throw you a curved ball when you least expect it. We see only what we expect to see, and sometimes we could be in for a big surprise. And I sure got a surprise I can tell you, in spades. A surprise that lead to blackmail and murder. That's when I really got...Trouble in Mind.

Jack solves another mystery, really liked this book just as much as the first two. Starts off in this with a rough start but he is able to proves his worth in the end. I hope there will be more stories with Jack in the future.

This is the third of the Jack Daniels Novellas this is as good if not better than the first two. This continues with a link to the first two books, bringing more puzzles to be solved. I really enjoyed this series.

Our intrepid private detective, Jack Daniels, takes us through his problem of a non paying client that turns into two murders. Crime noir, with a little humour, that gets better story by story. This third novella is wonderfully narrated, capturing the dry humour and pace of the story well. Let's hope for further cases.
