Internationally best-selling author Tim Dorsey's irreverent and hilarious novels starring evil genius Serge A. Storms, lovable psychiatric hospital escapee, zoom along at breakneck speed, delivering laughs and shocks in droves. In Torpedo Juice Serge heads for the Florida Keys, where, curiously enough, he isn't the saltiest nut in the jar. Since it's always a good idea to fly under police radar, Serge figures the Keys are just the place to lie low. Plus, he has two missions to accomplish: re-invent himself and get married, although he hasn't picked the lucky lady yet. But what he doesn't know is that enough serial and spree killers are headed his way to have a parade of psychopaths. Are the Keys big enough for all the lunatics? Whilst this may not be one of the best Dorsey books George Wilson's narration makes this a great listen.
In this novel he seems to totally get into the characters and let loose. In several sections his exuberant delivery really made me grin. Listen and enjoy I say!

Fabulous Narration

Where does Torpedo Juice rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Just love this series - can not get enough of Serge's madness.I have read and now picking up on Audio.
The Narrator brings life to the characters in such a brilliant way I often find myself laughing out loud and giggling insanely while listening.

Another masterful comedy crime caper that Serge and Coleman run headlong and shamble half consciously into respectively where ever fan of Tim Dorsey will instantly themselves right at home. Yet more adventures through the gruesome drug fuelled craziness Florida is famous for. George Wilson’s voicing is absolutely pitch perfect.

Deadpan delivery of laugh out loud comedy
