With the Japanese Imperium at war with the Soviet Union, and the United States watching cautiously on the sidelines, Second Lieutenant Joe Sullivan of the U.S. Marines is sent on a dangerous mission to Tokyo. The Russians have Summoned a demon of epic proportions to attack the city, and all that stands in its deadly path is an untested Japanese super-robot. Now, Joe is at the controls, his gravity-spiking Power at the ready. But that is one huge, mean Demon....

Great little story and it is just that I missed the length of the book and after it ended after only an hour was very dissapoited having wasted a Credit on it. 😭

1 hour 8 minutes

Great story. Well read. A little jingoistic at times but it fits the pulpy setting. Makes me interested in the rest if the series, despite it's lack of mecha.

Excellent short story for fans of Pacific Rim

It was great to come back to Chronicles, even this was a short episode. Larry continues to write about stuff I would never consider interesting, and he does it in a brilliant way. If you never read MHI or Chronicles, do your self a favor and let Larry and Bronson Pinchot take you to a wonderful literary journey.

Grimnoir Chronicles live on!

This was a pretty good story, but it could have been a lot longer. Still, it was a good listen.

Pretty Good.
