A Sabbat Worlds novel.

When the vital forge world of Orestes comes under attack by a legion of Chaos Titans, the planet is forced to appeal for help. The Titans of Legio Invicta respond, committing their own force of war engines to the battle.

Listen to it because....

It's a vision of total war in the 41st millennium, from the smallest soldier to the largest God-Machine.

The story:

When the vital forge world of Orestes comes under attack by a legion of Chaos Titans, the planet is forced to appeal for help. The Titans of Legio Invicta, although fresh from combat and in desperate need of refit and repair, respond, committing their own force of war engines to the battle. As the god-machines stride to war, the world trembles, for the devastation they unleash could destroy the very world they have pledged to save.

Really loved this book and inspired me to start an adeptus titanicus army 😀 😀

Fantastic

Overall it was a fantastic novel and I would definitely recommend it to others however when it is described as a wider overview of an engine war it means it is multiple smaller stories from different angles, this is great for the later story when they weave together however it does make the opening 1/3 feel rather 'choppy' with it abruptly jumping between the stories as to properly set them up. Overall if you are interested in the titan legions and the mechanicus the story and vivid descriptions really bring them to life and create a seriously compelling read. Highly recommend!

I've read this in print twice, loved it then. The Audible version added an extra something so I now love it even more

Didnt live up to the insane level of hype for me. I thought it was a good jarn and lived the ideas but its not a revelation like Eisenhorn or some of Dan's other great works.

Good but not great

My first audio book, let’s hope they’re all this good. Great performance from the narrator.

Epic Story
