I really enjoyed a lot of the authors earlier books but this whole carter series has been incredibly disappointing. The plot was just all over the place, the characters are just not well developed enough to be remotely likeable and the female narrator not very good. She sounds over excited and naselly all the time no matter what she's talking about. If feels like this book & all the others in the series were done in a rush with no proper thought.
