The future has changed, history hasn’t repeated, and she’s running out of time…When living in the past, there’s always the chance the future you once knew will become an unknown … as Beth Apsley is soon to discover.

Nine months have elapsed since Beth and Carlton time-travelled to 1977. Now settled, with no more threats to their liberty or from the nefarious Colney family, they’ve used their knowledge of the future to their advantage.… life is pretty peachy, or so she thought.

When they discover the future has altered, and not for the better, Beth faces an impossible choice … she’s going to need her time-travelling father’s help because lives are at stake.

Once again, can Beth, Carlton and Jason alter the past to change their futures?… if they fail, there’ll be no future.

it's what I would call a page turner, if I was actually reading, not listening to it. Ready for book 8 now!

Once again a strong storyline, characters develop nicely. It is well narrated as always and now I'm waiting for the next one in eager anticipation. 5 star in all respects.

Every time I read one of the Jason Apsley series I tell myself at the end that this must be the last one. Surely there can’t be any more. But happily the imagination of Mr Cousins knows no bounds and this story with its intricate twists and turns had me marvelling again.

It was great to revisit this world and see how the different timelines interacted.

I won’t give the story away but suffice to say the finale was superb and again I thought “is this the end”. I hope I’ll be proved wrong !

Narration was as always top notch. But I couldn’t help but feel that a little bit of Deanna had crept into Kelly’s character. Who’s Kelly, you may ask. Well not gonna tell. You’ll just have to read the book.

Till next time hopefully!

Just sublime. As usual.
