An early warning of disaster brings International Rescue to Peru to assist in relief efforts following a series of earth tremors—and sends the Thunderbirds in search of an ancient Inca treasure trove hidden beneath a long-lost temple deep in the South American jungle!

When Lady Penelope is kidnapped by sinister treasure hunters, Scott Tracy and Parker are soon hot on their trail. Along the way they'll have to solve a centuries-old mystery, brave the inhospitable wilderness of the jungle and even tangle with a lost tribe—with the evil Hood close behind them all the way...

Any Thunderbirds fan will enjoy a new story from the FAB crew, but I've listened to one of these, a Captain Scarlet one and a Stingray; the Captain Scarlet story was by far a better story.

Whoever voices Lady Penelope does ruin an otherwise very close imitation of the original voices. Overall, great, but not perfect.

Good, but not perfect.

The THUNDERBIRDS cast once again deliver a fantastic, epic story that takes the listener from the familiarity of Tracy Island, to the deepest depths of Peru, with the odd danger and rescue here and there! FAB!

Another FAB THUNDERBIRDS adventure!

Ooh I absolutely loved this audiobook; great story with the right balance of characters, story, rescues and excellently performed by the cast. It seemed to be over far too quickly, I was gripped from start to finish. More please!

Thunderbirds are GO!

This book takes me back many years. The story is good. The different voices and sound effects work extremely well. Highly recommended.

Very good.

I did enjoy this, although I did have an issue with Lady Penelope. Why on earth does she talk like she does? I've never heard anyone talk like that before. It's not just bizarre it's also extremely annoying! The other thing is some of the sound effects which are odd. For example, at one point one of the characters is supposed to be attacking a small gold casket with a dagger, yet it sounds like he's attacking a large glass fronted metal cabinet with a machete! Another is the witch doctor, who is supposed to be giving piercing shrieks that chill the blood, but he actually sounds like someone trying to yodel. Other than this it's actually quite good.

For the most part it was good
