Özet
The first installment of an incredible novel by George Macdonald, this volume introduces the main character of this three part journey, Thomas Wingfold. His dutiful demeanor and routine religious position are reflected in his faith, which has become stagnant and rote. Throughout Volume 1, Thomas begins to wrestle with certain aspects of his beliefs and encounters several individuals with unique perspectives that eventually spark sincere reflection in this quiet figure. Experiencing confusion, doubt, and heavy questions, Wingfold begins his journey to true faith as he struggles with his understanding of the faith he’s professed his entire life.

This is my favorite George McDonald book. And I was so happy to find it as an audio book to listen to on a long car journey. I want to support the project and hope for more of his works to come to audible. But I would say that I’m disappointed it was split up into 3 volumes. Especially seeing as it is itself part of a trilogy. I can’t see any other reason but sales…

Hope to see more ☺️

Love it! I want more - though this should be 1 book, not 3
