Özet

From the #1 bestselling author Leeanne Slade, get into the festive spirit with a comedy about rings, reunions and reconciliations.

This Christmas is a special one for Kitty and Leo: not only is it their first since becoming an official couple, but it’s the first in their brand new home. After a whirlwind summer together, they are planning to spend the Christmas period curled up in front of the open fire, exchanging gifts and making new traditions.

But when not one, but two sets of in-laws but two sets of in-laws unexpectedly arrive on Christmas morning, they are forced to host Kitty’s Mum and her aggressively frisky cat, Kitty’s Dad and his Scrooge-like attitude, and Leo’s Mum and her treasured family heirloom: a diamond ring she wants Leo to give to Kitty. Kitty and Leo thought they had this Christmas all figured out. . . It might be time to think again.

For listeners who fell in love with Kitty and Leo in The Rebound, and for those meeting them for the first time, get ready to swoon - and laugh - under the mistletoe.

Performed in duet by Claudia Jessie and Tom Bateman. Featuring an original theme song written by Shelly McErlaine, with lyrics by Leeanne Slade, performed by Hey Ho.

There were some giggle worthy moments, definitely a simple tale, nothing too shocking... i found the man's voice a bit grating though.

Simple ,funny and heart warming

I'm usually a "no Christmas spirit until December" kinda gal, but there was no way I was waiting until then to hear about some of my all time favourite audio book characters. Leo and Kitty have my whole heart and this story was just the most gorgeous heart warming delightful next chapter. Funny, sexy, sweetly heartbreaking (nearly cried & I NEVER cry in an audiobook), real, swoony and just... everything!

The narration was incredible (helloooo Tom Bateman's deep voice! phew! might need a minute) and just kept you enchanted the whole time.

I am a huge fan of Leanne Slade and this has just reinforced it for yet another time.

Moooore please!!

Utter perfection - as always!

Hated Leo’s voice it put me right off from the moment from the moment I heard it that because in the book previous not being a man talking I expected his voice to be softer and he came across really weird with a deep voice. He sounded much older and I didn’t like the fact on Christmas Day two sets of grown-ups would have sex when people were down the stairs that is not real & quite annoying, but the dinner is quite a simple dinner went wrong when there’s six adults in the house …. And bear is such a professional man, Leo. And kitty. He would’ve told her to take over cooking do his work . so this was all a bit annoying what were the dad of kitties voice? Oh my God that sounded really really rough. But although I’m saying all this, I still like the book and didn’t think I would enjoy it after reading the first one which was brilliant.

Loved kitty’s voice the whole storyline

This was so funny in parts I was genuinely laughing out loud. Claudia was great again and I loved Tom’s voice for Leo. I recommend listening to the rebound first though!!

Perfect Sequel
