A star quarterback plays for keeps in the first book of a seductive dark-romance series from the USA Today–bestselling author of The Pucking Wrong Number.

Two years ago an accident shattered Casey's world. Now, college promises a new beginning, a chance to truly breathe again and leave her past behind—with the exception of Gray Andrews. Through it all, Gray has been her lifeline, her hope for a happy future, the only guy she's ever wanted. Until she sees him . . .

Parker Davis is everyone's fantasy. He's a star football player, painfully good-looking, and charming as sin. Casey more than understands his appeal. What she doesn't get is why the Tennessee Tigers quarterback is interested in a quiet freshman nerd like her. But for whatever reason, Parker wants Casey to be his girl. He says she's his endgame, and he's not taking no for an answer.

Casey thought she knew who and what she wanted, but now Parker has smashed her reality all over again. She knows she should be wary of his intense focus on her, but instead she's starting to crave it. And as the line between attraction and obsession begins to blur, Casey finds herself falling for the completely wrong guy.

Narrated in duet style.

narrators: Both of the narrators were spot on and portrayed each character so well I felt I was listening to them directly ! they came to life !

the pace was medium !

Tropes:
obsessed MMC
Morally Gray MMC
Broken FMC
secret society

I have read Disney's book so I was looking forward to this and it didn't disappoint ! I love the unhinged , stalking and obsessiveness the MMC has towards the FMC.

open door spice: spice was spicing !

tw: death of a loved one, gaslighting, depressed/grief ridden parent

Delightfully Unhinged MMC

Quite funny but not amazing. Likeable characters and really super narration.
Easy listen. Not sure I’ll move on to the next in the series though.

🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Spicy 🤌 C R Jane your an absolute goddess. Perfection funny and a little dark for me (From my usual dark romance reads it might be darker for others) It was the perfect pallet cleanser. I swear Lucas could read me the dictionary and I'd squeal like a girl. I can't wait for Jaces audio book to come out (I have to admit I read the book I'm that impatient for the release) I have to say I'll never say baby the same way. Alexis Paige narration was perfect too I will be listening to more audio books with her.

Absolutely Loved This
