As far as children are concerned, a REAL WITCH is easily the most dangerous of all the living creatures on Earth.

This edition of The Witches, part of The Roald Dahl Classic Collection, is perfect for Dahl fans old and new.

So, enter a world where invention and mischief can be found on every page and where magic might be at the very tips of your fingers . . .

The Roald Dahl Classic Collection reinstates the versions of Dahl’s books that were published before the 2022 Puffin editions, aimed at newly independent young readers.

The voice acting was passionate and immersive but I think one of the witches' voice could have been tamed down, it was somewhat difficult to hear and a little annoying. but grandma, the kid, and the jenkins were all very well done!

amazing little story, very comfy listening experience

The most important thing to mention here is that this is the REAL version. The other version on Audible is a censored edition, even though unfortunately it fails to mention this.

The narration is great, also. It brings the story to life

A fantastical story, classic Dahl! Our only complaint is Miranda Richardsons accent of the Grand High Witch is so strong and her performance of the witch so extravagant that we struggle to understand the dialogue (particularly the 7 yr old!)

Gripping
