Lucy, an actress who just can't get a break, is warm, funny and a total addict for happy endings. She just can't seem to find her happily-ever-after in the backstreets and bars of bohemian Melbourne.

When the devilishly handsome Byron appears, Lucy thinks she has fallen into her own personal fairytale. But when she's faced with a case of mistaken identity, a noble quest, a lovelorn serenade and a duel to the bitter end, Lucy must confront the eternal question: is true love fact, fiction or something in between?

It was a nice, funny story full of stereotypes and preposterous moments designed to make us laugh and it , often worked. I felt it was a bit too long and listed to the second half on 1,5 speed. Still worth it as it is included in the membership.

Fun even if a bit long

so I started listening to this book and thought it was ok at first but after 3 chapters it was really dragging and I was bored, when there was mention of a 'tranny' joke that was it for me, I don't think that's an acceptable term and really put me off the author.
I did find the way the narrator told the story and the sound effects of someone on the phone a good idea

not a fan

I can't leave a review of the story as the narration was awful so I couldn't get beyond 10 mins in.
