In the wake of her husband's inexplicable suicide - and the equally mysterious deaths of scores of other exemplary individuals - Jane picks up the trail of a secret cabal of powerful players who think themselves above the law and beyond punishment. But the people bent on hijacking America's future for their own monstrous ends never banked on a highly trained FBI agent willing to become the nation's most wanted fugitive in order to derail their insidious plans.©2017 Dean Koontz (P)2017 Recorded Books Inc Action & Adventure Crime Thrillers Mystery Mystery, Thriller & Suspense Psychological Thriller & Suspense Gerilim Kurgu Suç Heyecan verici Korkutucu

It’s been a While Since I read a Dean Koontz it was Nice to Have a Strong Female Role. He Slips just enough Sci-fi /Fantasy in its almost Feasible,A great Performance and a great Story such a bizarre ending I wonder if there will be a part Two I want to know whats happening to the with the Tillman’s I Guess they must be playing Manchurian or something and the Kids Too one never really knows why these kids can’t be Assimilated and if it’s just these ones. 18 hrs and one’s still left wanting more but I guess that was the whole point not knowing left to wonder if you have been too. !

was a bit disappointed with The Silent Corner but the Whispering Room made up for it 10 fold. Edge of the seat stuff, Koontz at his best .

As always I enjoyed this book as much as many others of his..
He seems to get Better and better, his prose splendid, his descriptions unsurpassed!
Second book as good as first, I’m off to listen to the third and final? I don’t know but many more Jane Hawks would be fine as far as I’m concerned..

Koontz, in form
