There’s no place like home….

After the harrowing and life-changing events Scarlett and her Canaries survived beyond The Wall, they return home to a less than warm welcome.

And sadly, minus one of the team.

Scarlett has been arrested and returned to her "fiancé" to face his wrath. It is not only his retribution that she must deal with, but also the heartbreak and betrayal from those she left behind.

But Scarlett has a mission. One she will need them all to help achieve.

She left to save the ones she loved. Now she must return and fight, not only for all of humanity’s survival, but for their very souls. A war is brewing.

No one has stood up to Noah and The Verity, and lived to tell the tale. Not until Scarlett.

They need a leader, and all eyes seem to be on her.

Secrets will be uncovered.

Hearts will be broken.

And lives will be lost.

But when did being dead ever stop anyone?

Wow, Well that was a thrilling ride! Verity Part 2 definitely delivered a roller coaster of a ride. So much killing, twists and turns throughout.
The storyline is amazing, with zombies, love, friendship and arch-nemesis thrown in, to top it off.
I really enjoyed the story and I liked how descriptive the world-building was. I did find that the main MFC turned on her friends very quickly and frequently but that is my own personal opinion. The lead character is so badass 😎 and a force to be recond with. I would have liked to have seen the love interest have more of a role, I felt like he was not mentioned enough but again that is my personal opinion and this does not take away from the story in any way.
I did not see a few plot twists coming so that was a nice surprise.
Overall Verity was an enjoyable read and I rate this book a 4 star 🌟

As with the first book in the series, I read this book some time ago, so storywise I knew what to expect. I loved it when Zi read it, but hearing it brought to life by Amy Putt was incredible. She put everything into telling this gritty, heartrending story and I fell in love with it all over again. I certainly shed a tear or two at one point in the story and was heartbroken when I knew the experience would soon be over. As I mentioned with book one, this is aimed at a YA audience, but I’m a grandmother and loved every bit of it. I would so love to know what happens next for Scarlett and the rest of the team.

Can I give it six stars please!
