Cristiano Vendetti: I wear the name proudly. I’m Italian royalty, damn near untouchable. The crux of being Vendetti is The Empire. A family of my stature has certain obligations. One of them practically archaic, as our betrothals are decided for us. Whatever to benefit the famiglia, right? I’m mafioso, trained to do as I’m told on all accounts.

I’m rewarded with Arianna, as she’s always been my choice. The woman is more of a curse in my case, as I’m already a married man. While mistresses are a common occurrence in the life, Ari is dead set on making me struggle for breaking her heart. There’s also the problem of Sofia, my wife. Do I kill her and be done with it, or give her to my brothers?

I was given this book free for an honest review.
I love a good dark mafia romance and I really enjoyed listening to this one . This is a first from both narrators and they made listening more enjoyable.

The storyline was a good plot but, why do these captured women not fight back, surely not all women would just give in.

The Vendetti Seven is a deliciously raw, steamy, and gritty mafia romance that takes you on an intense ride. The storyline was engaging, angsty, nail-bitingly exciting and unpredictable. The characters are multifaceted, complicated, and totally captivating. I was thoroughly enthralled, and I loved every moment of it. Sapphire Knight is a talented author, enrapturing her readers with her complex characters and plot. I responded emotionally to the events, in particular the antagonistic actions. I was biting my nails while waiting to find out what happens next. Olivier Charlas and Madison Hatfield did an excellent job with the narration, capturing the characters' personalities and accents, breathing life into the story. Vendetti Seven was a fantastic listen, one I'll highly recommend.
