The #1 Bestselling Debut by The Vampire Jack Townson.

Trade your entire life for fame, fortune, and eternal beauty. The only thing have to lose is your soul... Magic is real. And real damn scary.

A man down on his luck trips and stumbles into a world of bloodthirsty monsters hidden among the precipices of New York City. A chance encounter with illustrious vampire Alexander LaMont ensnares the clumsy yet hopeful James Donovan in shadow and treachery, thrusting James into his new identity, The Vampire Jack Townson. Will Jack survive the vampiric politics of Manhattan, or will final death come to claim him at the next sunrise?

Welcome to New York. We bite.

Jack Townson's contemporary fantasy series, The Vampire Jack Townson, is a perilous tale about the dangers of love, deception, and vampiric grit where the action of Jay Kristoff meets the decadence of Anne Rice.

"The Vampire Jack Townson is a brutal, unflinching, gut-punch of an urban fantasy novel. Rapid-fire pace and plenty of twists -but not for the faint of heart!" -Jonathan Maberry, NY Times bestselling author of NecroTek and V-Wars and 5-time Bram Stoker Award winner

The narration of the entire cast is pristine and I enjoyed it all the way through, as well as the plot and characters that were shown to have depth and personalities, through and through. That's why I really want to give this audiobook the full five stars but in the name of honesty I cannot do so.

That's basically down to two things: the audio quality dips in a strange way seemingly consistently during Annabella's lines; and the story is otherwise great and compelling but for the way Jack chooses against his resolve on numerous occasions. This is apparently due to his manipulated emotions, resembling a weather vane in my opinion more than just a confused and betrayed person.
It may well be just my interpretation of things or my personal tastes regarding such a personality trait.

In any case, these are my reasons for dropping that one star from my review.

Narration excellent, audio quality wobbly at times, story mostly great and compelling

omg! that voice is so smooth, because of that I have been up listening all night. I started listening at about 2pm in the afternoon yesterday.

I had to take breaks from listening because Jack's voice is so smooth, alluring, captivating, melting.

However, the story of The Vampire Jack Townson is brilliant. I can't wait for number 2.

smooth voice
