From the author of the bestselling Til Death Do Us Part comes another gripping psychological thriller with a shocking twist.

Amy is a loving wife and mother, to her husband and two children, Michael and Bella. It's that dedication to her family that causes her to seek help for her teenage son when it becomes apparent he is going to fail his end of school exams. Enlisting the help of a professional tutor, Amy is certain that she is doing the best thing for her child. But when she discovers that there is more to this tutor than meets the eye, it is already too late. With the rest of her family enamoured, Amy is the only one who can see that there is something not quite right about her. As the tutor becomes more involved, Amy isn't just worried about her son and his exams anymore. She is worried for the survival of her entire family.©2021 Daniel Hurst (P)2022 W. F. Irritating attempts at Brummie accents. Story seemed cobbled together and disjointed. The ending was an explanation of what the heck had gone on, which was unbelievable, and by then I was past caring.

Dreary

Not too bad at all, was tuned into it right to the end, even though I’d worked out most of the story half way in.

The first Daniel hurst book I read was the passenger which I really enjoyed, The Tutor had a good twist but didn’t keep me gripped.

Ok

Interesting enough story and I enjoyed parts of it.
The ending was a little odd and the “twist”/reveal not as exciting as hoped. I feel like having the younger sister of the accused/wrongly convicted be more involved would have made more sense!

It was okay…

I enjoyed it. it kept me listening and engaged, but was really let down by an awful ending. still worth a read, but expect to be a bit let down once it's over

good book marred by a very weak ending
