Özet

Brought to you by Penguin.

The fourth book in the Sally Lockhart Quartet, narrated by Adjoa Andoh.

Jim Taylor, Sally's oldest friend, is engaged as bodyguard to a princess. But Crown Princess Adelaide of Razkavia is not what you'd expect. She's the slum-girl Jim has been searching for ever since she vanished 10 years ago.

Now her life is in mortal danger, and together they must battle against unknown enemies in a country where no one can be trusted.

I was worried due to a new narrator but this was absolutely fantastic. As always!!!
Branched off from Sally Lockhart but was just brilliant with the previous characters coming through!!
Moments of pure excitement, fear and laughter (at the smaller gestures/comments!)

Just love this collection

I couldn't engage with any of the characters, the plot was overreaching and the accents of the narrator were overwrought. I always make a point of finishing books, no matter how bad I think they are, but I was looking forward to getting to the end of this as fast as possible!

Really lacklustre plot and cringe worthy narration

Whist the story is ok. The German accents are just way too annoying to enjoy this book.

Disappointing, badly narrated
