Three months have passed since Rosprom unleashed its offensive against Olympias. The Angels won, but at what cost? Many Angels have died, and both Nephilim and Metatron have suffered life-threatening injuries. But something good has also come out of the attack: Metatron has been appointed to the Board of Olympias, taking him an important step closer to achieving his goals. However, one crucial piece of the puzzle is still missing, and to retrieve it, Nephilim must travel into the heart of enemy territory—to TogbuaXiang.

In its capital, Bangkok, she meets the Tigress, the legendary leader of the Wasps, TogbuaXiang’s elite cyborg troops. The Tigress offers her an alliance, but for that, Nephilim must do her a favor—a favor that could easily cost Nephilim her life. Meanwhile, Metatron dives deep into Olympias’ political intrigues. To destroy the elites, he must become one of them. But danger lurks unseen: Jake has returned from Rosprom with a vengeance and only one goal: to kill Metatron. The Behind Blue Eyes saga continues!

The Blue Eyes saga continues and although we see a lot more of the hidden history and a bigger idea of what is die to happen after the previous events this has a bit less action for me.
The biggest change for me which threw me off was the change of narrator which took me down a star but this did settle down I think due to the production quality and he does do well with the narration.
I received this audio as a freebie and have left my own thoughts for all.

Great Continuation

This book has changed one of the voice actors, but I got used to it pretty fast and the story keeps being interesting and I am looking forward to the next book.

First of all, new voices. It took a while to adjust my mind to it. The story has a different pace which is an interesting change from the fast pace in the previous volume. I like how the fates of different characters intertwine again. This volume left with cliffhanger and I'll have to wait for next book. This is cruel ;).
I'm not disappointed with anything in the book. It is exactly what i expected from Anna. So if you like Nephilim, you will read/listen to this volume. Can't wait for next chapter in her story!

Everyone has own agenda

Just got too much bad language and graphic details of acts I would rather not image. Sad end to a series for me.
