The #1 bestseller

‘A terrific story, originally told. All hail the new Queen of Crime!’ Heat

‘A web of a plot that twists and turns and keeps the reader on the edge of their seat. A page-turner, but don’t read it before bed if you’re easily spooked!’ Sun

You think you know who to trust? You think you know the difference between good and evil? You’re wrong …

The body of the head teacher of an exclusive Devon school is found hanging from the rafters in the assembly hall.

Hours earlier he’d received a package, and only he could understand the silent message it conveyed. It meant the end.

As Exeter suffers a rising count of gruesome deaths, troubled DS Imogen Grey and DS Adrian Miles must solve the case and make their city safe again.

But as they’re drawn into a network of corruption, lies and exploitation, every step brings them closer to grim secrets hidden at the heart of their community.

And once they learn what’s motivating this killer, will they truly want to stop him?

I've struggled recently to find an ebook that has not followed the usual predictable formula. The Teacher is a crime thriller, a little reminiscent of Mo Hayder but less graphic. Good plot line and good characterisation.

Very good

What a brilliant book!!! yes it may be a bit on the gory side and if you don't like that type of thing then perhaps this isn't the book for you, but if a grim murder mystery is up your street then definitely download this. The story was very well written and the narrator did a great job.

loved it....highly recommended

Only listened to this because my wife downloaded it. So glad I did. A really great dark thriller. Enjoyed it so much I've downloaded the next book, the secret. Five stars all the way for me.

Loved this book. When I was reading reviews before I’d listened it said it was quite graphic but I loved that. Very good, unique book to listen to and would recommend if you like mystery thrillers that are a bit more graphic and gory.

Love it!

I found this book bouncing from gory violence to mundane life although none of the characters had a normal background.
I found the narration easy on the ear especially given the subject matter.
Not for the faint hearted but definitely a page turner.

Fast paced
