The third gripping mystery in the Misty Isle series, from the multi-million-copy bestselling author, J M Dalgliesh.

Digging up the past can be deadly...

A teenage boy goes missing on Burns Night. A woman’s body is found in Talisker Bay. And it’s DI Duncan McAdam’s job to find the killer before someone else turns up dead.

A closely guarded secret, lying in a shallow grave for years, is under threat of being revealed and no one seems willing to face up to their past... least of all Duncan McAdam.

He has a decision to make, one that will impact not only his life but the lives of those he cares about the most. Does he have the courage to follow his instincts? And who will he choose - the people he loves, or himself?

Set amidst the dramatic landscape of the Isle of Skye, this addictive and fast-paced crime novel takes you into the heart of a rural community, where everyone is hiding secrets.

The Talisker Dead is the third book in the new Amazon #1 bestselling Misty Isle series from the multi-million selling crime writer, J M Dalgliesh, the author of the Hidden Norfolk and Dark Yorkshire books.

I got slightly confused as there are a lot of characters in play but got there in the end. Hopefully they will continue to develop throughout the series.
Slightly dysfunctional island but the stories are well rounded and pretty credible.
Narration is fab
