THE SYSTEM’S F****D

Voices from the Frontline of Broken Justice

The justice system is not what the public imagines.

A police force that is crumbling, suffocating under the bureaucracy and perverse incentives of those at the top.

Domestic abusers walking free whilst victims are being failed.

Broken homes leaving children to be groomed into a world of crime.

A court system that is corrupted by politics, holding on by a thread.

A prison system hollowed out for profit.

Is justice working, and is it truly blind and fair for all?

Because behind closed doors, the truth is darker than anyone wants to admit.

From the bestselling author of The Job’s F*cked–The Secret Diary of a Police Officer comes this no-holds-barred, unflinching and unparalleled account from inside the UK criminal justice system. First-hand testimony from frontline and senior police officers, prison officers and governors, barristers, support services, activists, and more.

This is the book they hope you never listen to.

A really great listen — and the sad thing is, it’s true. Parts are funny and very entertaining, but as you progress you realise how many things are supposed to help X, Y, and Z — and don’t. The book doesn’t deliver softly; it goes straight into what needs to be exposed, with the hope that there can be some light at the end of the tunnel. Would highly recommend.
