I gave up halfway through, I just couldn't listen anymore, the main character was whiney, unrelatable and the whole story lacked detail and depth. Annie Aldington was as always very good but even she couldn't save this one

I really tried to persevere with this series and even purchased an additional credit to continue with the second book, hoping it would improve. Unfortunately, it just lacks believability. The characters and dialogue feel forced, as though it’s trying too hard to be gangster rather than allowing the story to develop naturally. I wanted to enjoy it, but I just couldn’t get past how unconvincing it all felt.

Good effort but not great .. Annie amazing as always
