Great story as usual from retreat without Joseph Delaney. So much background and underground work. Always a good read Irvin my case listen. And Thomas Judd brings it all to life amazingly.

I have read the Wardstone Chronicles and loved every one of them. They are my favourites and now can listen to them in the car.

The book is brilliant. Another great instalment in the famous series, continuing the adventures of Tom, the Spook’s apprentice, and his master. The first few books in this series have been alright but this one in particular has had quite a few recording errors where it sounds like a scratched record or a broken cassette tape, which ultimately made some of the chapters difficult to listen to, and the story less enjoyable.

Great book, broken audio recording

I read this series many moons ago and always meant to revisit it. I've been enjoying the audible versions, really well read and the story is as great as it ever was, vibes of the Witcher for a Harry Potter audience.

Great British fantasy

The third story int he Wardstone Chronicle was as good as the previous ones. As scary and magical as the rest. With new plot development to tantilise and tease. My only complain is that again they get a new narrate to read the story. While Thomas Judd did a sterling job and I really enjoyed his reading of the book, I would have liked consistency with the second and first.
