Meet the Rabbitte family, a motley bunch of loveable ne'er-do-wells whose everyday purgatory is rich with hangovers, dogshit, and dirty dishes. When the older sister announces her pregnancy, the family are forced to rally together and discover the strangeness of intimacy. But the question remains: which friend of the family is the father of Sharon's child?©1995 Roddy Doyle (P)1995 Random House Literature & Fiction Komedi

Anyone that enjoys Roddy Doyle’s work will love this. The movie has been a firm favourite of mine for years.

Didn't like how Roddy Doyle describes the close encounter between Sharon and her baby's father. Just a horrible description. Understand she was drunk but seemed a low life description of a man with a woman. No need and pointless.

Very short..only two hours!

I bought it to listen while reading the book, but the audio removed around 20% of the text

Not all the book

I found the audio quality quite poor so the sound shifts from too quiet to hear easily to suddenly too loud.

The writing - the warmth and the humour.
