Paranormal women's fiction and romance from NYT and USA Today best-selling author Michelle M. Pillow.

You can always go home...but sometimes home won’t let you leave.

At 40, Kari Grove knows she should be over her strict childhood. The grandparents who raised her had never been loving people. But some feelings are buried deep and contain more dark secrets than even she realizes.

Even after death, it would appear her grandmother isn’t done controlling her life (and that’s putting it mildly).

With the help of new friends and a love interest her grandparents would have hated, Kari must finally learn to stand up for herself and unravel the tragic mystery of her past.

Heather, Vivien, Lorna, and Sue are back! With the help of Grandma Julia's ghost, they're kicking supernatural butt and taking names.

The Sixth Spell Book 5 in the Order of Magic by Michelle M. Pillow is such a great story to read/listen to. The dynamics in the storyline as well as the different characters kept me engaged and Rebecca Cook does a fabulous job in voicing the characters and emotions. I highly recommend this series, this author and this narrator!!

Book five in the Order of Magic series chronicling the paranormal lives of the ladies of Freewild Cove,

Lorna, Heather, Vivien and Sue continue to hone their psychic skills in contacting and dispatching spirits. As ever, the spirit of Julia Warwick, Grandma to Heather, is there to direct, chastise and assist.

The arrival of Kari Grove in Freewild Cove sends up paranormal red flags to Heather, Vivien, Lorna and Sue.
When they investigate a complex web is revealed and gradually unravelled.

Kari was raised by her wealthy, chilly grandparents following the death of her parents on her day of birth.
She is called to Freewild Cove to tend to her grandmother as her health declines.

Her death leaves Kari seemingly tied to a ramshackle, haunted house and vulnerable to a malicious spirit.

Her grandmother’s history of dark magic, manipulation and sheer selfishness is astounding.

Good story with a great resolution.

Excellent narration.

A lovely escapism and I so want to move and live in Freewild Cove where you can find magic and love within a very short time! A perfect combination of magic and romance with a short and sweet sex scene, lots of romance and sweetness.
Listened in a day so easy reading, but very enjoyable and nice read.
My first introduction to this series was previous book 4 The Fifth Sense and enjoyed it more as Sue's story connected with me more, Kari's story is a bit more extreme, sensational and detracted a little for me as a bit of a long winded story which is shame as nice ending. Loved beginning, few tears towards end, but middle just lost me, my interest waned and yet enjoyed.
Had the joy of listening to this through Audible and really enjoyed the narration of Rebecca Cook.
Even though did not read first few novels in this series, it did not detract as was able to enter the world and meet the characters with no preconceived idea of the lovely ladies of Freewild Cove. Short read and would be nice to reconnect more with the ladies from previous books and have bit more depth, but a short enjoyable story.

Loved the narration from Jazmin Harmon, who brings this magical book to your ears.

When Kari Grove arrives in Freewild Cove and visits Lorna, Heather, Vivienne and Sue . Red flags start flying .
Kari had raised by her wealthy, and very cold grandparent Connie after the death of her parents on her day of birth.
Kari finds herself in Freewild Cove to look after her grandmother’s health declines and then her death. Kari finds herself looking after a haunted house with a malicious ghost,
It is then we learn about Connie’s history of dark magic, and manipulation. Throw in a hunky contractor who is doing some work on the house. Slowly Kari releases she and the good women of Freewild Cove are meant to be a family. Can these women get a malicious spirt to leave.

Humour, romance, magic and brilliant characters.
