The Shadow Club doesn't just call the shots—they pull the trigger.

Annapolis. The U.S. Naval Academy. Here begins Widow's journey—a path from a promising naval career to a crossroads of life and death. Rewind to Widow's final days as a twenty-two-year-old midshipman, where a dying woman's request catapults him into a whirlwind of lies and buried truths.

Her last request? For Widow to solve the mystery of her sister's cold-case murder. Aided by The Shadow Club—a secretive cabal of the world's sharpest investigators—Widow is lured into a world where justice is a shadow play of vengeance and power.

With each step, Widow is forced to question the very essence of justice. The shadow club's allure is intoxicating, the price of their truth, astronomical. As Widow peels back layers of conspiracy, he stands on the razor's edge between law and vigilantism.

The Shadow Club isn't just a test of Widow's acumen—it's an interrogation of morality itself. Brace yourself for a journey that asks: What is the cost of justice? Where should the line be drawn?

Brilliant narration from Alan Philip Ormond

We meet a young Widow and can see the man he before and the an insight why and how .
We have a club that believes that they are dealing out justice. Yes some times you see justice is blind and needs a push. But also that self justice is can be even blinder,
Widow is just on the first steps to his Navy career and in love. When asked to delivery documents for a society that looks into old crimes are story picks up and builds. Widow has one thing that was always in him truth and justice. Oh he does get his hand let’s say dirty but he never crosses the line of judgment.
A secret society, the truth that shocks many and the meeting of his further. I did love reading and listening to this book, it explains how Widow stops his heart falling. Action, drama, distrust, and a broken heart that turns a young shipman into a warrior.

Not disappointed. Timings didn’t quite work and so many bad shots lucky breaks. Not bad though. Starting to like Widow books again.

Nice intro to Widow and Cameron

thought it was really weak storyline and felt I was listening to something that was written too quickly using scenes from old crappy American crime drama.

tried to return this story after listening for an hour or two.
