As someone else said, heavily borrowed from Sookie Stackhouse for starters. Page after page after page of internal ramblings by the protagonist that add no plot info or background story whatsoever. She gets summoned to the vampire king and after she leaves, we still don’t know why she was summoned. They kiss. The next time, he goes down on her without preamble. Maybe the author should have spent a bit more time on making that plausible or on developing that romantic connection, than on the incessant internal monologising. Couldn’t finish it, it was so bad.

The story gets a little disjointed and the final battle is a letdown. Over too quickly with not a lot of detail.
The other thing that annoyed me was the amount of times the word c0k was used. I am no prude but is this feels like soft p0rn with a bit of a story thrown in, and not a particularly good one!

This is giving Sookie Stackhouse vibes!
