Of the thousands of books about the life of Jesus of Nazareth, most tell us what the faithful believe about him...or more accurately, what they've been told to believe he said, did and what it means!
What, however, can be said about the real-life Jesus? Is the story of Jesus just a legend, or did he actually walk the shores of Galilee? Did Jesus actually say what's in the New Testament Gospels, or are all the words there merely attributed to him? And does anything purported to be his message, his Good News, have any relevance to the people of the 21st Century?
In this latest work by researcher, educator and activist Rick Lannoye, the answers to these and many other related questions are confronted directly! Relying on the best methods of scholarly research, Lannoye has pieced together what may prove to be the most historically reliable picture to date of what Jesus of Nazareth was really like and what he really said. Then, he shares his heart-felt conclusions about what Jesus' actual teachings mean for us today.
