It’s hard to resist the past in this steamy, dark hockey romance—an Amazon Top 10 Bestseller from USA Today-bestselling author C.R. Jane.

Blake moved to L.A. for a fresh start and to make it big. Now she’s waiting tables while her dreams of becoming a model hover just out of reach. She already has her hands full . . . and then her past walks into the room and changes everything.

“What’s your name, sunshine?”

At first Blake doesn’t recognize him, but the gorgeous six-foot-four, tattooed pro-hockey player is Ari Lancaster—her first ever crush, the one who got her through the worst time in her life. He’s all grown up now, with an unshakeable confidence and the ability to turn her inside out with a single kiss. And he has no intention of letting her go again.

Blake knows she should resist, but each time Ari’s overwhelming intensity is focused on her, all her best intentions go out the window. There’s no denying they’re playing in different leagues, but it’s only a matter of time before Blake starts to wonder if the completely wrong guy she’s falling for . . . is actually the right one.

Wow- what a follow on from the wrong number. I loved the ott mmc the narrators were perfect. The story hit hard topics but made it easy to read/ listen to because of the author has written it. I laughed so much and cannot wait for book3

Who wouldn’t fall in love with a man who has been looking for you for years, leaves his friends and his hockey team behind just for a chance to be with you ?????

Only problem you don’t know that it’s the young boy you fell in love with whilst in foster care or that man is now stalking you and manipulating your life just so he can be with you .

Ari Lancaster is just crazy and I am living for it . Blake has her demons which Ari helps her work through but the story goes to show you really need to have the right people in your life.

Omg I loved walker (Disney ) and was so excited when the author revealed he was our next main man.

Listening to the book on audio I picked up on some really funny little one liners that didn’t really register when I was reading , the way linc kept asking Ari if he he needed some handcuffs to stop Blake running away just has me laughing cause Ari clearly didn’t k ow what king had done to monroe , I just loved it and how little bits from the previous book crept into this one

Even if you have read the book give the audio a go I adored it , you know it’s good when you have to check if anyone just caught you laughing😂😂

Ari Lancaster 🥵🥵🥵

I love this book as a book and this audio is just as great. Ari is utterly and deliciously unhinged and both narrators are doing a fantastic job here. Love love love it 🫶🏻

This was unhinged and hilarious. While at the same time it did cover some serious topics. Loved it!
