Especially when a body washes up on the shore...

But it's impossible to find answers when everyone here has a motive.

The billionaire's daughter, glamorous, untouchable, hungry for her inheritance.
The start-up founder, out of money, and out of time.
The young dive instructor, in way over his head and struggling to stay afloat.
The husband, blinded by desire, in all the wrong ways.
And the lover, hidden in the shadows, where no one can see them....

An exotic thriller with more twists than a dry martini. This destination thriller draws us into the messy lives of both the wealthy guests and the hard-working locals on a remote island resort. There's nowhere to hide as tension heightens between the rich and the poor, the good and the evil. Ali Lowe masterfully skewers her characters and their flaws, ensuring a deeply satisfying ending to this twisty murder mystery!
Paradise with a side of poison . . . Ali Lowe is hitting her stride with this expertly woven murder mystery set on a stunning tropical island. Exotic cocktails and swaying palm trees contrast with sharply drawn characters, complex motivations and Ali's trademark dark humour. Compulsive reading with an absolute cracker of a plot

This was a cracker! While trying to avoid spoilers - I was really rooting for potential suspects & the unpleasant characters were so well done, you really wanted them to come a-cropper! Had a touch of Poirot about if & I loved it, I’d definately read more by this author

Loved it! Great read

Absolutely brilliant. A new author for me. Great characters, a real sense of Fuji that makes you feel there. Surprising twist I only got half right. Raced through it. Definitely checking out more by this author.

The narrator was superb and the description of Fiji and the resort made you think you were there too. I felt it was a little slow halfway through, but still enjoyable

Really enjoy this authors work
