Friends and family can fill our lives with love . . . if they don't kill us first

Every couple has their secrets . . .

It's wedding season, and tensions are brewing.

When one lavish wedding ends in disaster before it can even begin - with the maid of honour discovered dead in Nantucket Harbor just hours before the ceremony - everyone in the wedding party is suddenly a suspect.

As Chief of Police Ed Kapenash digs into the best man, the bride, the groom's famous mystery novelist mother, and even a member of his own family, the chief discovers that every wedding is a minefield - and that no couple is perfect.©2018 Elin Hilderbrand Dedektif Kadın Kurgu Kurgu Mystery Romantic Suspense Romantik Women Sleuths Gerilim

Really enjoyed this book!
It is her first book that I have read and I think it is perfect for a summer time read. The characters believeable, ( particularly Nick..!) and it made me chuckle in places too.
The narration perfect for me would very much recommend- looking forward to reading another of her novels.

Loved it!

An easy listen, the majority of characters, including the bride, were unlikeable, shallow and self absorbed, but I think that’s the point!

Simple beach read

Really enjoyed, apart from the excruciating English accents. Great storytelling and well plotted, excellent character development.

Easy murder mystery, not stressful

I love Elin Hilderband as I confess to being a little obsessed with Nantucket. Her books never disappoint as they are a nice easy read. I felt a bit let down at the end of this one as it felt there were still answered issues for me but overall I enjoyed the story. My only gripe was the narrator. Celeste's stuttering was beyond annoying and some of the accents were just awful. Probably won't listen to this one again

Nice enough listen but hated the narration

Disappointing end, a lot of stories with no need for such detail as they didn’t affect the story at all. Enjoyed the details and explanations. Very good at setting the scene. An accidental death was unexpected, as it was so lazy of an ending

Anticlimactic
