A breathtaking story of a woman marrying, growing up, bravely persevering, and seeing what traditionally was a man's point of view with the insights of a woman growing up in the same way. An insightful novel in so many ways.

I wanted to hear this book. why is there dreadful music playing the whole time?

So annoying

The repetitive music which droned on over the narrator who was struggling with indigestion and avoided words he couldn’t read, made this the worst recorded book I have ever had from Audible! I cannot recommend it at all, I have just picked up a sense of the story but I wouldn’t have continued if it wasn’t a book club book. In the end I bought the book and read them together and there were words left out!!!!

Hardly comprehensible!
