Beau Holt (AKA Goliath) is the perfect protective hero! He is the most selfless guy, I mean he literally takes a stranger out into the woods to keep her safe, all the while juggling his own responsibilities. He is funny, caring, trustworthy, sacrificial, sweet, swoon worthy, and oh so loveable!
Sabrina is so brave! I mean, she single handedly took down mobsters 😂 She’s hilarious, dedicated, strong, honest, protective, and just an all around badass! Her life was turned upside down, but she kept going. I loved her story and her character growth was amazing.
I really loved all of the Prescott characters we met in the earlier books, but this book was extra special because it was so focused on Beau and Sabrina at the Outpost itself. There was no hiding, no secrets and the forced proximity was top tier! It forced Sabrina to trust Beau and their relationship was so sweet because of it.
I can’t wait to continue this series but I also don’t want it to end! 🙈 Can I just move to Montana?!

There is no humour or clever banter, no sign of a budding relationship for this "city girl" high flyer reporter and the "wilderness man".
